Events Administrator Fixed Term contract until March 2025 25 hours per week (Core hours 10.00am – 3.00pm) £13.35 per hour - £17,416.00 per annum Lysaght Institute, Newport, NP19 0RA The opportunity: Linc are offering the opportunity to join their small, but busy, team at Lysaght as an Events Administrator. Lysaght Institute is one of Newport’s most iconic venues, offering high quality service in facilitating corporate hospitality and celebration events. Equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, our facilities include small to large sized 1920s Art Deco style function rooms, original balconies, and beautifully landscaped gardens. A small and busy team, complete with suppliers, to cater for all our events and conferencing requirements. What we need from you: To help us continue to deliver a high-quality service, we are seeking an organised and friendly person with a passion for exceptional online and offline customer service, to join our friendly team. You will ensure quality customer engagement is delivered throughout the life cycle of the customer experience, so you will need to be confidently responsible for the following (but not limited to): Manage telephone and email bookings and enquiries. Organise and coordinate customer meetings to document their event requirements. Customer relationship management administration. Reactive social media scheduling. Meet and greet impromptu visitors that often arrive at the premises. Tend to ad-hoc ‘on the day event’ customer queries and promptly pass on to the events and hospitality team.
