Lead on the organisation of events and marketing, with guidance and support from the Head of Events and Marketing. Be responsible for external communications, including the design and implementation of marketing material. Line manage the Events and Marketing Coordinator and Events and Marketing Assistant. Oversee the events planning, administration, and marketing processes. Lead on social media presence using the social media strategy as a guide, with support from the Head of Events and Marketing. Attend Committee meetings, providing advice on the organisation of events and to support the planning and delivery of a range of events and conferences. Work closely with the Chairs of the organising committees and courses for key events, attending committee meetings as necessary. Review individual event budgets drafted by the Events and Marketing Coordinator and recommend them for approval to the Head of Events and Marketing. Work with the AV technician to advise organisers on suitability and best practices of remote attendance at events, including webinars and hybrid events. Develop and deliver event marketing plans, including webinars. Support the Events and Marketing Coordinator with drafting and publishing marketing materials and newsletters. Design all publicity material, mainly for events but for other teams as requested using Canva and Adobe CC. Produce reports and statistical analysis of marketing engagement when required. The right candidate for this role will have experience managing events in the not-for-profit or education sector. You will need to be an excellent communicator, confident, and able to deal with stakeholders at all levels.
