Events Coordinator

to join a sociable collaborative team for an organisation based in Hatfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied and rewarding role, organising delegate attended events across Hertfordshire. The position offers room for progression over time and also involvement supporting other large, prestigious events too. The Role: As Events Coordinator, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth planning and execution of events. Responsibilities will include: Event organisation:

Supporting with logistical aspects, from planning to delivery. Delegate management:

Promoting events, managing bookings, preparing attendee lists, and producing name badges. Venue liaison:

Coordinating with venues on catering, AIV facilities, and room setups. Guest speaker coordination:

Ensuring all requirements are met and communication is seamless. Event day support:

Providing meet-and-greet hospitality and handling unexpected matters calmly. Post-event processes:

Collating feedback and analysing results for continuous improvement. To succeed in this role, you will need: A minimum of 1 years' experience in delegate attended event coordination, with a proven ability to coordinate multiple events. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with colleagues, delegates, guests and venues. Competence in using Office software to manage bookings, attendee lists, and feedback. A proactive, team-focused attitude, combined with the ability to work independently. A valid driving licence and access to a car which you can use for business use as travel to event venues is required.
