Our prestigious client in Banbury is looking for an Events Manager to run and develop our vibrant programme of annual events, ranging from popular family entertainments like the Banbury Show and Food Fair, to formal civic occasions such as Remembrance Sunday, Battle of Britain day, and parades. The post would suit an energetic, outgoing individual who has experience and skills in event management. Effectively manage events and activities for which the council has responsibility. Establish, develop, and maintain systems to formally carry out Health & Safety inspections. Manage and promote the Town Hall as a conference and meeting venue. Maximise income generated through activities, events, and town hall hires. Oversee all civic/ceremonial matters and provide a support service to the Mayoralty. Line manage the events, civic/ceremonial, and Town Hall maintenance and cleansing staff. Assist with the preparation of detailed specifications, tendering, and evaluation of contracts. The Candidate:

HND or equivalent in a related subject Experienced in dealing with the public People manager/motivator Good communication skills both verbal and written IT Literate Ability to work as a team and on your own Hours:

Monday - Thursday 08:00-16:00, Friday 08:00 - 15:00 Salary:
