Due to their continued success, our client is looking for a forward thinking, creative and articulate Events Manager to be responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of events and conferences across the business. Skills & Experience Required: Extensive proven event project management and leadership skills, including the ability to manage budgets. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook with a high level of attention to detail and organisational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as creative flair should come naturally. Accurate, methodical approach to work, with excellent attention to detail. Flexible and adaptable around working hours and the ability to work calmly under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Professional attitude with demonstrable ability to exercise complete confidentiality. Key Duties & Responsibilities Include: The successful planning, implementation, and management of corporate and social events, conferences, exhibitions, and roadshows. Managing the delivery of events and associated budgets, ensuring efficient running of the annual events and conference calendar. Negotiating corporate rates across all event delivery to ensure best budgetary value. Collaborating with all associated departments to publicise and promote events. Managing and overseeing events, including problem solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, and communicating with staff and organising vendors as appropriate.
