Job Summary Sovereign Strategy, a Public Affairs Consultancy, is offering bespoke advice to governments and some of the renowned FTSE 100 businesses around the world, is looking for a Partnerships & Events Manager to join the London team. The role is to assist strategic planning and execution of national and international policy related fora, events and roundtables. The role requires the post holder to have at least 5 years of working experience in a related role, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational skills, a professional manner for dealing with high profile clients, and the diplomatic and coordination skills required in the management of a high performing office. Responsibilities Manage projects (end-to-end), i.e. in the organisation (e.g. logistics and administration, reporting) of events, meetings with Sovereign Strategy project managers for the company and/or clients. These can range from small meetings and roundtables up to large scale events (e.g. 200 plus attendees) in London and internationally. Manage the branding and marketing strategy of Sovereign Strategy including the website and social media by working with senior management. Work closely with Account Managers and Account Executives on project related deliverables, planning and execution. Planning and Execution : Take charge of Sovereign Strategy’s annual and client events, ensuring each one aligns with the company/client goals and brand image. Strategy : Coordinate with the wider team to create cohesive and effective event and project management that deliver against the company’s and client’s strategies. Manage Budgets : Oversee the event budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure we get the best value. Social Media:

Evolve and execute Sovereign Strategy’s social media strategy across multiple platforms to increase brand visibility, engagement, and community growth. Identify opportunities to grow the reach of the company and clients via targeted engagement strategies. Requirements Experience as an Events/Project Manager preferably in a political consulting firm, NGO or corporate business by engaging within a political environment nationally or globally. Proficient use of event/project management tools and methodologies. Proficiency in using and monitoring social media platforms. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational skills. Excellent time-management skills and being able to work under tight deadlines. Adaptable and eager to learn about different client deliverables. To be a strong and experienced leader, able to inspire, motivate and galvanise a high performing ambitious team. Demonstrable ability to lead through complex and competing priorities, working with relevant multi-team stakeholders to ensure strategic coherence and identify creative solutions. Being able to travel for work outside of the United Kingdom on occasion for event delivery. Qualifications At least 5 years’ experience in events coordination and partnership roles. Additional foreign language desired (e.g. French or Arabic). IT skills including Microsoft Office and event and email software. Experience in health and safety, personnel and risk management desirable. Salary : Competitive salary dependent upon experience.
