37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Based in Weybridge, Surrey. Will travel to Ashford, Surrey site too. We are seeking an experienced Exams Manager to lead and manage the examinations team and maintain outstanding service. The Exams Manager will build excellent links with curriculum areas to ensure that the exams team are kept up to date with any planned changes to exam boards and assessment practice. About the role: As Exams Manager, you ensure that student assessments, examinations, and the accreditation of qualifications are administered and completed in accordance with the Awarding Organisation requirements. Your role will include, but not be limited to: Identifying any potential problems and raising them with the appropriate teams within the college and awarding organisations - ensuring that the problems are rectified and recorded for audit purposes. Developing, reviewing, and implementing new procedures and systems to streamline the examinations process. Facilitating clear and timely communication among college staff, students, and external stakeholders. Ensuring all students are registered and entered correctly with the appropriate Awarding Organisation. Overseeing the production and facilitation of exam results on results day. To fulfil the role of Exams Manager you will have: Experience of working in examinations departments in the post-14 sector. Detailed knowledge of exam board requirements and regulations. Supervisory experience, gained from a busy environment, working with a range of internal and external customers and stakeholders. Level 2 English and Maths. Proficiency in MS Office. Excellent organisational and planning skills and ability to prioritise and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. What we offer: Generous holiday entitlement. Financial benefits and discounts.
