An intergovernmental body is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide support to their General Secretary’s Office at their central London headquarters.
This is a temporary position to start ASAP for an initial 3-month period and will pay £19.08 per hour PAYE.
The role is hybrid and will involve working at their central London offices 2-3 days per week.
The Executive Assistant will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Office of the Secretary-General. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining the Secretary-General’s diary, interfacing with a wide range of internal and external clients, preparing correspondence, and organizing official travel and representation events.
The ideal Executive Assistant will have the following knowledge, skills, and experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in international development, law, social sciences, public administration, project management, or other relevant field. Previous administrative experience supporting at a senior level. Ability to organize, anticipate, plan, and prioritize workload in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Experience delivering in a constantly changing environment. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail and initiative. Good proof-reading skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. High level of computer literacy, including MS Office Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
