We are looking for a dynamic and highly organised individual to support three of our Executive Directors: Chief Medical Officer Chief Paramedic Officer Chief Nurse This position requires a proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented professional, who is friendly, engaging, and confident in communicating across the organisation at all levels. You will be able to make informed decisions, display sound judgement, and have an energetic mindset, eager to tackle new tasks and offer ideas. This is a hybrid role (1-2 days in the office) working 37.5 hours per week. Main duties of the job

The successful post holder will ensure the smooth running of the office and possess effective stakeholder management skills: Extensive experience in diary management, arranging meetings and appointments with both external and internal personnel. Developing and implementing effective systems and strategies to manage the activities, workload, and efficient use of time of the Executive Directors. Providing additional diary and meeting coordination support to the senior management team within the directorates as required. Working for our organisation

In addition, you will: Be educated to degree level or equivalent with evidence of continuing professional development. Have knowledge and understanding of good governance and Board assurance. Have experience working in a large, multi-professional organisation, supporting at a very senior manager level. Be able to prioritise and make judgements involving highly complex or sensitive issues. Qualifications/Experience

Degree level education or equivalent knowledge/experience. Management/Secretarial or equivalent relevant training/experience. Experience

Extensive experience working as a personal assistant or providing service and project support at senior management level. Experience of working in a large, multi-professional organisation. Experience of working under pressure with strict deadlines and dealing with a range of complex issues. Skills/Knowledge/Ability

Excellent organisation skills with the ability to apply appropriate judgement to deal with competing demands and high workloads. Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing. Ability to prioritise, screen, and handle calls on behalf of a senior management team. Please note that the salary range noted on the vacancy is in line with agenda for change (AFC) pay scales.
