Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation and technology and knowledge transfer. - THE ROLE - The postholder will assist the Finance Systems manager by providing technical support to all users of the finance systems. They will assist with implementing technological innovations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial systems. - ABOUT YOU - - 5 GCSEs (to include English and Maths at grade C) or equivalent qualifications. - Experience of assisting in maintaining and developing large scale Finance IT systems or implementing new Finance IT Systems. - Experience of providing a quality customer-focused service delivered to large numbers of staff at all levels. - Experience in development of financial operational procedures and manuals. - Advanced user of MS Office applications with demonstrable evidence of the use and application of Excel. - Willingness to travel and work outside normal office hours on occasion to meet the demands of the role.
