Location:

About The Role

As an Executive Assistant in IOSH, you will be at the heart of driving high level, proactive and seamless support to our Directors, acting as a vital link between them and their Directorate teams. You will help support strategy development, solution discovery, manage risks, and maintain key relationships, all whilst demonstrating our values and being an advocate for IOSH.

As a trusted advisor to the Senior Leadership Team, you'll be instrumental in delivering on ambitious goals and meeting both strategic and operational objectives. You will also support them in meeting business needs and stakeholder expectations through collaborative working, diary management, planning, being solution-focused and providing expertise through corporate intelligence.

What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you will have a deep understanding of the Executive Assistant role, with proven experience of working in a busy professional office environment. You will have significant experience in working at pace and dealing with conflicting demands and priorities, so the ideal candidate will have excellent prioritising skills, knowing how to manage conflicting demands and requirements. You will be skilled at engaging collaboratively with senior stakeholders both internal and external, navigating corporate governance structures and applying project management techniques.

You will have knowledge and an understanding of corporate governance structures, decision-making processes and how to navigate them effectively. It would be beneficial, but not essential, for you to have knowledge of GDPR legislation, business operations and tools like risk registers and management systems. Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills will be your strengths, enabling you to build relationships, influence outcomes, and tailor messages ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.

Essential Criteria

Understanding of the role of an Executive Assistant. Ability to prioritise effectively to meet deadlines and deal with conflicting demands/priorities and react when required. Proven experience of working in a busy professional office environment, working at pace and dealing with conflicting demands and priorities. Significant experience of providing a quality administration service and engaging and working collaboratively with senior internal and external stakeholders. What's in it for you?
