We are currently seeking a highly motivated and engaged Executive Assistant to join our Custom's Whānau! About this role… The purpose of this position is to provide high quality, effective and efficient administrative support to the Deputy Chief Executive (DCE) International and Governance and the Senior Leadership Team in International and Governance. In this role, you will be the 'go to' person for your group, building in-depth knowledge of your team's activities, and representing the group across the organisation. This role adds value to Customs by strategically managing assigned portfolios, freeing up the DCE's and International and Governance leadership teams' time so they can focus on high-level, value-add work. You will develop an in-depth knowledge of the work area, providing high quality, effective and efficient Executive Assistant support. This role requires a high degree of independence, discretion and trust, judgement, initiative and self-discipline, working effectively with other Executive Assistants and senior leaders. The successful candidate will collate relevant information and policies for the purposes of reporting or advice. In addition, you will be technology savvy and seen as a credible and effective relationship builder who is comfortable working with a diverse stakeholder group. The indicative salary range for this role is between $70,000 to $85,000 per annum (dependent on relevant skills and experience). The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance to a "Secret" level is required for this position. Working for New Zealand Customs… To join Customs in any role you must be a

and be able to obtain and maintain an Organisational Security clearance along with being able to obtain and maintain security clearance to

'secret'
