£55,000 per annum Why choose our Client? Set in the beautiful Sussex countryside, ideally situated near Brighton yet only 50 miles from London, lies this modern, resort-style hotel. The hotel boasts multiple food outlets including a 2 AA Rosette fine dining restaurant, lounge/bar offering lighter meals, snacks, and afternoon tea, golf clubhouse restaurant, and spa. In addition, the hotel also caters for C&B of up to 300 covers, including weddings. This is an exciting time to join a well-established hotel, which is undergoing a massive renovation and is due to launch its new fine dining restaurant soon. Please note that accommodation is not available with this role, therefore candidates should only apply if they are able to commute to the area daily. What's involved? As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire food operation including day-to-day kitchen operation, staff hiring and management, menu development and cost control, all whilst ensuring that the team are working to a high standard and delivering the customer an exceptional and memorable dining experience across all food outlets. The successful candidate will be an experienced Head Chef or Executive Chef in a luxury 4-star hotel already, with a proven track record in leading and motivating a kitchen team. You will be a hands-on leader with excellent communication skills and will have experience working to at least 2 Rosette standards, as well as having volume experience too.
