This is a multifaceted executive role working alongside the Trustees to deliver Haringey Shed's mission of providing inclusive creative arts for children and young people of all abilities and backgrounds.
Strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and financial acumen are essential for this role, as well as a passion and commitment to inclusive creative arts. The role will encompass a wide range of duties and responsibilities, including both strategic planning and day-to-day operations.

Knowledge and Skills Understanding of charity law, child protection, health and safety, and inclusive creative arts. Strong IT and administrative skills, including digital tools and web-based applications. Ability to develop programmes for children, young people, and the community. Aware of inclusive practices and trends in the creative arts and voluntary sector. Experience Working with diverse communities. Risk assessment and health and safety planning. Financial management, including budgets and fundraising from varied sources. Developing partnerships and collaborating with external organisations. Planning, delivering, and supervising community-based projects and staff teams. Personal Qualities and Skills Organisational and leadership skills with excellent communication and presentation abilities. Proactive, flexible, and empathetic approach to working with a wide range of people. Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and flexibly, including evenings. Job Responsibilities
To take full responsibility for the running and management of Haringey Shed, which will involve management of budgets, fundraising, leading the management team and promoting the charity's ethos of being fully inclusive and reflecting the diversity of ethnicity and ability in the community. Work with the Board of Trustees and management team to ensure that Haringey Shed's mission is delivered, statutory and regulatory duties are observed and that strategic and operational objectives are implemented.
