The Connexion Family Health Team (CFHT) is a patient-centered, multidisciplinary team of health care professionals who are dedicated to working together to provide primary health care services to patients in and around Ottawa. We are looking for an innovative dynamic leader with demonstrated organizational management skills to support the continued success of our family health team. As Executive Director you will report to the Board of Directors and create and support a new strategic plan and vision. As Executive Director you will be responsible for: Leading the team in its goals to enhance and improve primary care services to our community by administration, evaluation, planning, and coordination of programs and services; Ongoing professional support and development of an interdisciplinary team of health care professionals and administrative staff with an emphasis on continuing quality improvement; Building and managing collaborative relationships and strategic partnerships internally and with public and private sector organizations, including the Ontario Health and other health service providers; Overseeing and sharing in the responsibilities of the annual financial and operational business cases, plans, and audit; Publicly managing, speaking and negotiating on funding plans, business cases, internal audits, leasehold agreements and vendor contracts. This senior role requires proven operational expertise, business planning and project management skills, and prudent administration of public funds. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational abilities, building a new strategic management plan and experience working with a Board of Directors. A demonstrated ability to encourage innovation and productive collaboration is required. This leadership role requires successful experience in the health care field and proven achievement in a senior management position; a certificate, university degree and/or Masters degree in one or more areas, preferably in Business with an emphasis on health or business administration; a motivational leadership style. The successful candidate must excel at managing in a team environment.
