In this role, you'll support communications and engagement opportunities related to leadership objectives, managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines while working with a high level of autonomy. Your work will enhance internal culture and support our Executive team in representing Melba at key internal and external forums. About The Role The Executive Engagement Specialist manages communication and engagement activities for leadership initiatives, such as monthly Leadership Team Forums and Melba-wide Town Halls. This includes agenda preparation, speaker notes, presentations, and supporting delivery. The position develops tailored content in various formats, creating engagement tools that align organisational strategy with daily work, and supporting project-specific communications and engagement efforts. This position supports the Executive Leadership Team in identifying opportunities like industry events and conferences in line with strategic direction, assisting with applications and content development. The Executive Engagement Specialist will also support executive-level social media strategy and create end-to-end communication and engagement plans for other organisational priorities. What You'll Be Doing (key Accountabilities) Provide strategic communications and engagement support and advice to executive leaders and other leaders as required. Deliver communication and engagement activities across leadership initiatives such as monthly Leadership Team Forums and organisational-wide Town Halls. Support the Executive Leadership Team to identify opportunities such as industry events, expos and conferences. Support executive-level social media strategy and implementation. Develop and support the execution of end-to-end communication and engagement plans. Develop content in a range of formats including print, visual and audio targeted to our stakeholders. Create engagement supports that build linkages between organisational strategy and day-to-day work. Support project-specific communications and engagement activities. Your Background (Skills And Attributes) Experience in a communications and engagement role, supporting senior and executive leaders. Degree in communications or a related qualification. Advanced skills in presentation development using tools like PowerPoint, Prezi, and Canva. Proven ability to create and distribute impactful communications in large, complex organisations. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Successful management of multiple projects, delivering quality outcomes on time. High computer literacy, including expertise in digital communication tools. Ability to craft engaging, audience-specific content. Passionate about human rights, inclusion, diversity, and service excellence. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. Highly organised with advanced time management skills. Resilient, flexible, and adaptable to dynamic environments. Energetic, team-oriented, and results-driven. Experience in the disability and / or community services sector (advantageous). Requirements A current Australian Driver Licence. NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check. Compliance with OHS&W regulations, legislation, and Policies and Procedures.
