You will provide strategic, operational, and administrative support to the Department. This role is crucial for facilitating the effective and efficient running of all activities and projects, and the day-to-day management of the newly formed Department Office: finance, events and wider administrative support. Examples of activities that you will be involved in include: Preparation of briefing materials Co-ordination of department away days Departmental recruitment Supporting our annual planning processes. You’ll have the chance to work with a diverse group of colleagues, develop your understanding of the University and to make the most of your strong organisational skills to help ensure the department runs effectively. About You
We are looking for an individual with an interest in working within a Research and Innovation environment and a proactive approach to their work. You will have great people and communication skills, enabling you to work across the department and the University and support the department leadership team. You will have excellent organisational skills and experience of drafting reports, briefing materials, and presentations. This role is an excellent fit for individuals with relevant administrative experience (e.g. within a university or a funding organisation) looking to develop their career and gain broader experience.
