Executive Principal, Astrea Academy Trust Location: Cambridgeshire Salary: L37-L43 (£122,932 - £141,029) Start date: September 2025 or sooner Job Overview This is a new position and we want to attract expert Principals who are looking for the next exciting challenge in their career. The Executive Principal will be responsible for delivering an outstanding education and brilliant outcomes for secondary students across the Cambridgeshire region, specifically within two designated academies. To achieve this goal, the Executive Principal will line manage the Principals of two designated schools and work with their senior leadership teams, the Regional Director, Regional Operational Manager, and Director of Secondary Education. You will have a huge opportunity to be able to make your mark. You will also help shape and lead on aspects of Trust-wide secondary strategies and projects. The position is a great match for someone who shares the Trust’s vision for educational excellence and has the focus to drive rapid, transformational improvement building on our schools’ improving foundations. You will be a team builder, able to motivate staff and students. You will expect a lot from people and provide strong support to them. To support you with this, you will have access to the support and resources of Astrea Academy Trust. This includes the expertise of a Regional Director, as well as a highly effective team of national subject leads and central support for Finance, HR, Estates, and other functions.
