Hours: 30 over 4 days per week The Role: As an Exercise Clinic Lead Physiotherapist, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering tailored exercise medicine programs to enhance the quality of life for people living with cancer. You’ll oversee comprehensive patient assessments, personalised exercise prescriptions, and service management. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll contribute to the development and expansion of our Exercise Medicine services while inspiring excellence within your team. What You'll Do: Manage and coordinate the Exercise Medicine Service for all referred patients, ensuring seamless integration into their cancer care pathways. Provide leadership for the out-patient oncology physiotherapy service, ensuring comprehensive initial assessments and personalised exercise prescriptions. Supervise and mentor the Exercise Oncology Specialist, fostering clinical excellence and ongoing professional development. Promote awareness of the Exercise Medicine service through engagement events and collaboration with consultants and centre staff. Collect, analyse, and present service data to inform improvements and future development. What You'll Have: A minimum of 3 years’ post-graduate clinical experience at a Band 6 level, with a focus on oncology patients. Proven expertise in managing complex cases and a strong foundation in surgical, musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopaedic care. Experience in mentoring, clinical supervision, and inter-agency collaboration. Registration with the HCPC and a BSc Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
