Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor – Physiotherapist

JOB-20240830-c4aee575 Join us for an exciting opportunity as a Band 5 Physiotherapist to work as an Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor in Sleaford, UK, earning £25.65 per hour on an ongoing basis. What you will do: Perform clinical assessments and develop safe, progressive exercise treatment plans, ensuring thorough documentation of prescribed treatments in line with ERI Standards of Proficiency to Practice. Conduct group-based exercise therapy sessions for up to 15 patients, focusing on restoring optimal function through exercises targeting strength, range of movement, posture, neuromuscular control, aerobic training, and more. Sessions may also involve manual handling and hydrotherapy, including pool-based rehabilitation. Lead patient groups within specific clinical areas, setting appropriate rehabilitation goals and addressing various musculoskeletal injuries. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing a professional rehab service. Maintain a high standard of clinical governance in all activities. Manage the emotional and behavioural impacts of illness or injury, including handling aggressive outbursts and challenging behaviours with empathy. Clearly communicate complex information through presentations and written communication methods. Relay highly complex, sensitive information to patients with skill, demonstrating the ability to negotiate, mediate, and offer reassurance. Foster strong working relationships, collaborating effectively with managers and team members. Requirements of the Physiotherapist: Qualified physiotherapist, i.e., Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy Recent UK experience within specialised physiotherapy Registered with the HCPC as a physiotherapist to work in the UK NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential Working with Sanctuary Personnel: Sanctuary Personnel is a trusted and award-winning agency for roles.
