Our Whitby clinic is looking for a Kinesiologist to complement our talented interdisciplinary team. This is your opportunity to do the work you love every day. Treat Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), LTD, WSIB and private patients in a gym setting Work under the direction of the Physiotherapist and/or Occupational Therapist in matters regarding treatment, progression of treatment and management of the client Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs Complete employer assessments such as Physical Demands Analysis (PDA), Post Offer Employment Testing (POET) and Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE) to confirm job capability of essential job demands Prepare progress and discharge reports delegated by the treating clinician Assist the treating clinician with return to work planning Ensure the gym area is presentable, organized and free of obvious safety hazards What you need to be successful

A degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics Registration in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario or plans to write the Kinesiology exam in Spring 2025 Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work independently The ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team Excellent oral and written communication skills The desire to work hard to improve your skills Empathy with an effective ability to build rapport with patients Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Experience in interdisciplinary care considered an asset Experience with chronic pain, concussion management and chronic conditions considered an asset What CBI Health offers you
