Job Specification:
Work on multiple exhibitions in specialist sectors. Build and manage an evolving list of potential exhibiting companies, increasing revenue through selling exhibition space and sponsorship. Responsible for driving weekly sales campaigns, aiming to meet the annual event sales target. Maintain and update the company CRM system. Introduce and pitch the exhibition to senior decision-makers from SMEs to global corporations through cold calling and engaging with existing clients. Manage new and existing exhibitors, helping them achieve maximum ROI from our events. Work with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure the successful delivery of events. Person Specification:
Proven experience in a telephone-based or face-to-face commercial sales role (ideally exhibitions). Bright and ambitious trainees will also be considered. Strong communication skills (written, verbal, email). Team player. Highly organised, self-motivated, with the initiative and ability to work independently and manage your own workload. Comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers, CEOs, and Presidents. Adaptable and flexible in using multiple sales approaches to close deals. Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and adept at using social media platforms (such as LinkedIn and Xing) to connect with relevant prospects. Refer a friend and earn £100!
