Existing Business Manager

to join our

Cheltenham

office. As a senior member of the company, the role requires the individual to have a ‘hands-on’ approach together with overall responsibility for the Existing Business Property Team. Managing the Team Leader to support Lansdown’s “right first time” approach to customer service. Developing relationships with working partners, insurers, and clients to ensure the business continues to develop. Work closely with the management team in the day-to-day running of the Existing Business Teams. Train and supervise the team in conjunction with the team leader, including regular One-to-One meetings and Performance Development Reviews. Assist in planning, implementing, and tracking objectives by the company. Monitor, analyze, and adapt the departments accordingly in accordance with its objectives and performance. Develop, negotiate, and profitably sell business within own authority and in line with Lansdown’s strategy. Plan, prioritize, and manage the team and individual workloads to deliver agreed objectives and meet SLAs to deliver exceptional customer service. Use the appropriate method of communication to support Lansdown’s right first-time approach in order to maintain successful internal and external relationships. Understand and operate within the regulatory framework and identify and escalate any risks to the business. Attend and contribute to insurer scheme reviews with the management team. Service existing Lansdown clients. Assist in the growth of Lansdown. Achieve set targets agreed upon. Any other duties required from time to time. Knowledge, skills, and experience

Previous general insurance experience. Excellent, professional, and confident communication skills. Line management or supervisory experience, preferably in a client-facing environment. Proven sales ability. Flexibility. Manage workload. Ability to develop relationships internally and externally. Ability to construct effective written communications. Work well within a team, especially under pressure. Confident numeracy skills. Qualified Cert CII or commitment to work towards within an agreed timescale. Market, Industry, and Company knowledge.
