NOT OPEN TO SPONSORSHIP Day Support Worker Full Time Permanent £11.55 per hour in Kings Heath Day Shifts: 7:30am-3pm, 2:30pm-10pm & 7:30am-10pm. Essential:

At least 12 months experience with Autism and Challenging Behaviour. This is a challenging service, and we are seeking candidates who have experience with behaviours that may be described as challenging. Having previous experience as a support worker, healthcare assistant, or domiciliary/home care is essential. Service users are nonverbal and require full support with day-to-day living skills and promoting independence. We all work as a team to meet the needs of each individual based on a person-centred approach. Support Worker duties: Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, and hobbies Assisting with the development of person-centred plans for our residents This includes employment, education, and other opportunities Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments Providing personal care where needed, always working towards more independence Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development About Us At Precious, we empower individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Conditions, and other complex needs to live as independently as possible, become integral members of the community, and achieve their goals and aspirations through individual care pathways.
