Grosvenor Casino, The Victoria With the exciting upcoming investment, we will be operating two brand new cash desks within the venue & therefore we are looking for experienced cashiers to join our expanding team. As a cashier, you will be entrusted with the finances of the club, correctly accounting for all transactions whilst complying with all gambling regulations and protecting the reputation of the company by adhering to its policies.

You will: Acknowledge, welcome and assist customers in the Cash Desk Live our values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility and Solutions Collaborate and work as part of the cash desk and wider casino team Comply with all company procedures as required by the cash desk manual Comply with the Gambling Act, its regulations and Gambling Commission license conditions and codes of practice. Where appropriate, recommend the loyalty program to customers Support with any cash or asset counts in the club Maintain thorough records and accounts of all operations in the cash desk as per the cash desk manual and requested by the head cashier Report to the head cashier Salary ranges from £33,488 - £36,878 per annum depending on experience (full time). As a valued team member, you'll receive a number of benefits, including a share of uncapped tips, premium pay allowance after midnight (10% of hourly rate), free meal on shift, opportunity for overtime at 1.5 hours, an exciting & full social calendar & 50% off food and soft drinks at Mecca and Grosvenor venues. Qualifications

Minimum 12 months experience operating as a cashier in a casino cash desk & PFL is essential Excellent numeracy skills, with the ability to account for and manage large sums of cash accurately Strong understanding of or willingness to learn legislation related to the cash desk function, sufficient to pass a competency test Must be able to work shifts at any time of the day, including weekends and bank holidays Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to maintain a professional demeanour in high-pressure situations Proficiency in using cash handling equipment and casino management software Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) procedures and responsible gambling practices Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical aspects of the job Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and casino needs Previous experience in a high-volume cash handling environment is preferred
