To be successful in this role you must: Have relevant experience supporting children in KS2, preferably within a school setting. Be passionate about helping students in Years 3-6 achieve their full potential and be able to adapt your approach to meet individual learning needs. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both with students and staff, and be able to build strong relationships with children. Have a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and be able to assist with the delivery of engaging lessons. Be patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting the emotional and social development of children. As a KS2 LSA, you will play a crucial role in supporting students across Key Stage 2, helping them engage with the curriculum, and providing one-to-one or small group interventions where necessary. You will work closely with the class teacher and other staff to implement learning strategies and ensure students are supported in their academic journey. Your role will also include assisting in creating a nurturing environment that promotes positive behaviour and social development.
