Experienced KS2 LSA Role Overview: Experienced KS2 LSA (Key Stage 2 Learning Support Assistant) Chelmsford, Essex January 2025 start £83.33 - £100 per day Long term until July 2025 Permanent from September 2025 for the right candidate Full time - 5 Days per week Relevant experience in supporting children in KS2 required 2-form entry school 'GOOD' OFSTED report Academics is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Experienced KS2 LSA to join our inclusive and supportive 2-form entry school community in Chelmsford, Essex. The school is committed to ensuring all students receive the support they need to succeed, both academically and socially. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a team of professionals dedicated to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students. To be successful in this role you must: Have relevant experience supporting children in KS2, preferably within a school setting. Be passionate about helping students in Years 3-6 achieve their full potential and be able to adapt your approach to meet individual learning needs. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both with students and staff, and be able to build strong relationships with children. Have a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and be able to assist with the delivery of engaging lessons. Be patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting the emotional and social development of children. As a KS2 LSA, you will play a crucial role in supporting students across Key Stage 2, helping them engage with the curriculum, and providing one-to-one or small group interventions where necessary. You will work closely with the class teacher and other staff to implement learning strategies and ensure students are supported in their academic journey. Your role will also include assisting in creating a nurturing environment that promotes positive behaviour and social development.
