Metroweigh are looking for an experienced service engineer within the food manufacturing industry to be part of our enthusiastic, growing engineering team. This is a Monday - Friday, flexi role, traveling mainly within London and home counties. It is an excellent opportunity for candidates not wanting shift work or staying away all week. You will be based on the road every day travelling to customer sites, reporting to our Loughton workshop 3 times a week. Metroweigh are leaders in high quality weighing solutions and inline inspection systems supplying calibrations, commissioning, repairs and servicing to the food manufacturing industry, along with pharmaceutical and freight forwarding. The family business has been running for 46 years and is expanding to support the company growth. Your key responsibilities will include: Conduct product validations and failsafe checks on inspection equipment, reporting to the site contact Commission new equipment Conduct calibration visits Attend service call outs for clients to investigate issues with inspection machines Skills, experience and qualifications: Electrical / Mechanical Engineering qualifications 1-2 years experience working with Inspection equipment or Weighing equipment Must have a valid UK driving licence as this position is based on the road A team player and understand the importance of team performance. A keen eye for detail and are meticulous with your work. A strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and improve. Ideally, you will live in the North East London, Essex, or Hertfordshire areas.
