Year-round business Steady, competitive, and above-average pay Training provided Advancement opportunities available Opportunities to generate more money through our lead generation program We are looking for experienced Spray Foam installers to work in our great culture and growing business. The Spray Foam Installer is responsible for installing spray foam insulation in residential and commercial buildings. This includes preparing surfaces, mixing and applying foam, and inspecting finished work. The ideal candidate will have experience with spray foam insulation and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Here are some qualifications we are seeking: Experienced with the Application Methods: Spray foam insulation is applied as a liquid mixture that expands and hardens into a foam, creating a continuous and airtight barrier. Installers need to be skilled in using specialized equipment to accurately mix and apply the foam to different surfaces, including walls, roofs, and ceilings. Versatility: Spray foam insulation can be applied to various surfaces, including irregular and hard-to-reach areas, which makes it suitable for different types of construction projects. Installers need to have a good understanding of different building materials and surfaces to ensure proper application. Customization: Spray foam installers who can adjust the thickness and density of the foam during application. R-Value: Spray foam installers who understand R-values. Safety Precautions: Since chemicals used in spray foam insulation require proper handling and safety measures, installers need to be experienced in the safe use of equipment, as well as the proper protective gear, to prevent exposure to potentially harmful fumes and chemicals. Curing Time: Installers need to be aware of the curing time to ensure that the foam is properly formed before any additional construction work takes place. Building Codes and Regulations: Installers need to be knowledgeable about local building codes and regulations related to insulation installation. This ensures that the insulation meets legal requirements and passes inspections. Experience with Building Structures: Spray foam installers must understand how building structures work to effectively apply insulation without causing damage. This knowledge helps them identify areas where insulation could impact structural integrity. Maintenance and Repairs: In cases where future maintenance or repairs are needed, spray foam insulation can pose challenges. Installers may need to leave access points for plumbing, electrical, or other systems that could require maintenance over time. Overall, we are looking for spray foam installers who bring a unique set of skills and knowledge to the installation process, to work with the specialized insulation material that offers distinct benefits and challenges compared to traditional insulation products.
