Export Sales and Distributor Manager

to join their Sales and Marketing team in Cambridge. The successful

Export Sales and Distributor Manager

will work closely with a long-established network of overseas distributors, providing engineering and scientific training and ongoing support. You will identify, develop, and negotiate new business opportunities, bringing new distributors onboard and taking responsibility for the negotiations of high-value deals. This is a varied role which will also see you organizing and attending exhibitions globally and participating in a wide range of UK and international projects, offering endless learning opportunities. If you are an inquisitive and enthusiastic candidate with international distributor experience in a Science/AgriTech/Engineering environment, then we want to hear from you! Requirements

Who we are looking for: A sales professional, with proven experience in export sales/distribution management. Experienced in negotiating for high-value contracts. Relevant technical and scientific knowledge (electronic engineering, environmental instrumentation/plant science, etc.). Knowledge of environmental, plant science, agricultural, and horticultural markets would be beneficial. Educated to degree level in engineering or applied science would be advantageous. Adopt a consultative selling approach. Ability to build strong working relationships. Highly driven and self-motivated with a focus on success. Ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders and adapt/interact with different markets in all countries. Happy to work in a cooperative working environment. Willingness to commit to a role that involves frequent international travel. Benefits

Why you will like working with us: A competitive salary of £65,000 per annum. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Annual leave entitlement of 33 days including bank holidays, increasing with length of service. Entry into the Group Personal Pension scheme upon successful completion of probation with employer contributions of 7%, also increasing with length of service. Life assurance 4 x salary. As an employee of a cooperative-owned business controlled by its members, you will be offered membership following satisfactory completion of your probationary period.
