Monday to Friday (We anticipate up to 30% overseas travel within the role and when not traveling to be able to commute to the offices based in Stoke-on-Trent)

Salary:

Up to £85,000 + performance based bonus

The role:

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Export Sales Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in international sales and be skilled in developing and managing relationships with distributors and clients across various global industrial markets. This role will involve strategic planning, market expansion, and achieving sales targets while contributing to the company's overall growth. You will support the Senior Sales Manager and Commercial Director in sales and strategy across various niche global markets.

Main duties:

Market Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international industrial markets to expand the company's footprint.

Sales: Carry out sales of a range of industrial products to a niche area of the industrial market.

Sales Management: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives in assigned regions.

Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners. Provide exceptional customer service and support.

Contract Negotiation: Manage negotiations and close deals with clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the company.

Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to understand market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Use insights to inform sales strategies.

Travel: Manage and undertake overseas travel as required.

About you:

Wealth of experience in export sales preferably within the Manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding of international trade regulations, export documentation, and logistics.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Strategic thinking with a focus on achieving sales targets and business growth.
