Job Title : Exterior Systems Project Engineer Location: Warwick (Hybrid) Contract: 6 Months Outside IR35 Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU. They are seeking an experienced Exterior Design Engineer who has a strong back of Automotive Design experience in Exterior systems on a Contract basis . The role will be based in Warwick, UK. Job Description As Exterior Project Engineer your main responsibilities are: 5 years of Automotive Design and Engineering experience in Exterior systems within Bumpers, Grilles, Fenders, Exterior Trim, Spoilers, Lighting Has worked in a Lead Engineer, Product Engineer, Project Engineer or Project Manager role within Exteriors. Has worked with an OEM or Tier 1 supply for Exteriors. Supplier coordination and management experience Knowledge of DFMEA, Interior manufacturing methodologies and general requirements (Industry best practice and legislation) DVP and testing experience (virtual and physical phase) Production releasing experience. Launch and pre-production build experience. CAD viewing software experience Nice to have: Experience designing composite parts High end SUV experience BEV / EV experience Ideally has worked in several Exterior commodities (e.g. Bumpers and Spoilers) Start-up experience.
