We are looking to recruit a full-time Extra-Care Lead to deliver high-quality person-centred care and supervise a team of Domiciliary carers across our Hertfordshire Extra-Care Schemes. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and the Community Facilitator Manager to ensure that all of our current Compliance is up to date, ensuring that all care plans and compliance is meeting our Outstanding standards. The Role:

You will be supporting a team of carers within our Extra-Care Schemes by completing assessments and audits, developing relevant care plans, mentoring and onboarding our new recruits, and ensuring that our service users receive the highest standards of care in line with our company standards and reputation. You will be expected to work with a range of internal and external teams to ensure that our Extra-Care Schemes are managed in-line with our outstanding standards, ensuring that you are working with housing managers to rectify and resolve any issues swiftly. This role will cover across our Extra-Care schemes across Hertfordshire. Specifications of the role:

Carry out regular observations and supervisions of care workers within your area. Carry out new assessments and create care plans for new service users. Keep all the team aware and up to date on any changes to service user’s reviews. Manage the Extra-Care Schemes across our Hertfordshire Branch. Cover care worker absence, sickness, holidays, and provide emergency cover. Support service users to achieve maximum independence. Ensure adequate knowledge and comply with risk assessments. Record complaint incidents accidents as per the reporting policy, keeping all parties involved up to date. Benefits:

Car Allowance. Essential Experience:

Must have a minimum of 2 Years’ experience within a Domiciliary Care setting. Must be flexible on the hours you are available to work. Must hold a minimum of a Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards. Must hold a Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Desirable Experience:

Management or Supervisory experience. Excellent Customer service skills. Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change quickly. Who we are?
