To support our future growth, we are seeking a skilled
Fabrication Engineer
with a focus on mild steel and stainless steel. This position requires experience working with sheet metal and fabrication, including MIG and TIG welding to a high standard. Required Hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30 Friday: 08:00 – 13:00 Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings. Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard on bespoke projects. Use hand and air tools competently. Understand and follow instructions, developing ad-hoc solutions to immediate problems. Work both independently and as part of a team, adapting to the specific needs of each project. Occasionally work away from home as required. Requirements: Time-served Fabricator/Welder with experience in mild steel and stainless steel. Proficiency in MIG & TIG welding. Ability to work from and without detailed drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to improvise when necessary. Strong communication skills and self-motivation. Full UK driving licence required.
