Provide best in class fabrications to the various business sectors within the company's portfolio. Develop and mark out materials for fabrication. Welding using the TIG process. Use a range of machinery within the fabrication process. Assist in site installations when required. Work with colleagues to successfully complete projects. Working Monday to Friday - 37.5 hour week. Hourly rate is graded dependent on experience: £16 per hour - Can perform basic fabrication tasks and be willing to undertake some training - level 2 qualification. £17 per hour - Experience of fabricating on vessels and tanks or similar. £18.50 per hour - High level competencies across fabrication and welding. Experience:
City and Guilds in Sheet metal work or plating or BTEC Level 3 in Fabrication & Welding. Experienced sheet metal worker / fabricator / welder / pipefitter. TIG welding experience (MMA and MAG is beneficial). Able to interpret technical drawings. Ability to adapt to new processes and practices. Display innovative thinking and sharing ideas for continuous improvements. Ability to work independently. Willingness to work hard in a physically demanding environment. Clean Driving Licence. First Aid at work certificate would be advantageous.
