We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fabricator to join our clients team in Chesterfield.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in heavy engineering and welding, looking to bring their expertise to a well-established company.
Key Responsibilities: Fabricating and assembling components in line with engineering drawings and specifications. Carrying out welding duties to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently. Interpreting and working from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Maintaining high standards of quality control and ensuring all work meets the required specifications. Working within a team to complete large and complex fabrication projects. Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements: Previous experience as a Fabricator in a heavy engineering environment. Proficient in welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick welding) to a high standard. Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Health and safety conscious with a commitment to safe working practices.
Desirable: Experience working with a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, and other metals. Relevant qualifications or certifications in welding or fabrication.
