Our client based in Chesterfield is recruiting for a Plater Welder or strong structural steel Fabricator Welder to join their team on a permanent basis. This company manufactures components and products for the structural steel industry and is mainly bespoke work offering a big variety in what they can offer. The work is all mild steel from 3mm - 40mm gauges. They can offer lots of overtime at the moment if that's something you are looking for.
Job Description - Plater / Fabricator Welder Company manufacture products for the structural steel industry This role will be all workshop based Welding and fabricating heavy gauge steel work Taking the jobs from start to finish Working predominantly with mild steel 3mm - 40mm gauges
Essential skills - Plater / Fabricator Welder Ideally be apprentice trained in fabrication or plating Must be able to fabricate from scratch and take the job from start to finish Able to use fabrication machinery including presses, pillar drills and guillotines Able to mark out own work Confident measuring, cutting and forming metal Competent working from complex engineering drawings
Package - Plater / Fabricator Welder Up to £31,200 per annum Day shifts Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm Ample overtime available all paid at premium On-site parking
