Fabricator/ Welder

We’re looking for a skilled Fabricator/ Welders to join the production team at a well-established engineering company in Sandbach, Cheshire.The CompanyA leading sub-contract engineering company supplying components of any sizes that utilize innovative technology due to continued investment.They specialize in areas such as equipment for construction, automotive, nuclear, recycling, railway and many other general engineering industries. The company is located just 5 minutes from junction 17 of the M6 motorway in Cheshire. They provide accurately timed deliveries to any areas of the UK using their own fleet of vehicles.They are accredited to the following quality standards· IATF16949 : 2016· ISO9001 : 2015They possess a highly skilled workforce, with the most up to date C.N.C. equipment including Lasers, pressbrakes, machining & Robotic Welding with capacity of up to 5 tonnes. Alongside their facility, they have a Pre-treatment & powder coating facility on a separate site located just 400 metres away thus giving a fully turn key solution for their customer’s needs. They use state of the art software for both Cad/Cam & business operating systems to support and control all their operations.The RoleManufacture of fabricating and welding steel frames, structures, and sheet metal fabrications. Evaluate and interpret, sketches and other data to be used in the preparation of the product to be manufactured, conducting dimensional inspection prior to welding. Ensure work is conducted to exact tolerances. MIG/TIG welding on steel to a high standard.Please note: A weld test will be conducted prior to the interview. Candidates will need to bring their own weld masks to conduct their weld test within our factory.Experience and Skills for the RoleMig/Tig welding experienceThe OfferPay Range: £10.50 to £15.00 per hour (dependent upon skills & experience)Hours: Generally, days 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:30 to 12:30 Friday, but occasionally could be asked to work a shift pattern dependent upon customer demands and business needs. Shift Allowance will be payable on top of basic pay.Overtime: Available but not guaranteed.Contract Type: PermanentThere is an incentive for new starters.
