This is a hands-on role that involves completing various tasks in a small Fab Shop/Workshop. Responsibilities include: Ensuring fabrication materials and consumables are ready. Completing work to schedule and QC specifications. Checking work against drawings and QC specifications. Ensuring completed work is stored and ready for shipping. Fabrication and welding of products. Additional responsibilities for the Fabricator Welder include: Fabrication of sheet metal, plate, and steelwork from drawings. Welding using MIG, and ideally TIG. Fitting steel panels. The Steel Welder Fabricator will primarily work in the Fab Shop, with duties including: Fabrication of steel plate, steelwork, angle, box, and channel from drawings. Welding using MIG to high specifications. Working partly in the workshop and on-site. Hours of Work:
07:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday. Extra hours may be required. Term of Work:
6 to 13+ weeks with a strong chance of permanent roles subject to performance and workload. Immediate start permanent roles may be available for the right applicant. Pay Range:
Depending on qualifications, skills, and experience. Pay via Pay Company or Ltd Company basis: £15+ to £18+ basic + O/T Rates. Permanent PAYE basis: £12.50 to £15 per hour + O/T Rates. Please send your CV in Word format along with any qualifications or safety certifications/cards.
