We are currently recruiting personnel at all levels in the March, Wisbech, Thetford & Mildenhall areas, who are qualified, skilled, or experienced in the following roles:
Fabricator Welder TIG:
Working on varied light gauge jobs, fabricating sheet metal panels, tubing, frames, and supports from drawings. Welding to high specifications using TIG mainly; ideally able to weld using MIG as well. Fabricator Welder MIG:
Working on varied structural jobs, fabricating frames and supports from drawings. Welding to high specifications using MIG. Fabricator TIG MIG Welder Supervisor or Charge Hand:
Supervising a small team of welders, ensuring their work is completed safely, to QC specifications, and on schedule. Responsibilities include ordering materials. Semi Skilled Fabricators:
Cutting and prepping metal box, tube, angle, frames for specialized work. Grinding/Polishing sheet metal & steel plate. Assisting Fabricators & Sheet Metal Workers when required. Sheet Metal Workers:
Measuring, marking out, cutting, prepping sheet metal frames for specialized work. Able to use guillotines, saws, and presses. CNC Turret Punch Setter Operator:
Setting CNC Punch machines to produce parts in sheet metal and metal frames. Must be able to set & operate machines, ideally with programming skills. CNC Press Brake Setter Operator:
Setting CNC Press machines to produce parts in sheet metal and metal frames. Must be able to set & operate machines, ideally with programming skills. CNC Setter Operator:
Setting CNC Saw or Laser machines to produce parts in sheet metal and metal frames. CNC Operators:
Operating CNC Press, Punch, and Saw machines to produce parts in sheet metal and metal frames. Assembler/Fitter:
Fitting components and building units from drawings.
Key Qualifications:
Ideally qualified to C&G or NVQ in Engineering, Sheet Metal Work, or Welding & Fabrication. CNC Machinery experience, ideally with Amada & Trumpf Machines.
Pay Rates: Welders, Fabricators, Sheet Metal Workers: GBP 12.50 to GBP 15+ per hour depending on skills/qualifications. CNC Setter Operators: GBP 11.50 to GBP 13+ per hour depending on skills/qualifications. CNC Operators: GBP 10.70 to GBP 11.50+ per hour depending on skills/qualifications.
