About Us: My client is a leading company in Electrical and Mechanical Systems, known for their commitment to quality and precision, and is looking for a skilled fabricator/welder to join their growing team.
Responsibilities: Support Project Managers and Project Engineers in their preparation of quotes as a Fabricator/Welder. Adopt safe systems of work (RAMS). Observe the requirements of any Permit to Work issued by site Duty Holders. Follow efficient work procedures and techniques. Engage in the determination of work rotas and assignment of tasks. Assess tasks for completeness and report any issues or variations. Ensure all tools and equipment in use are certified and/or calibrated.
Requirements: 5+ years' experience in MIG & TIG welding and fabrication demonstrable by associated qualifications and training. Light welding and general fabrication experience for electrical containment systems and associated stainless steel support structures. Ability to work from technical drawings as a Fabricator/Welder. Be capable of drafting simple fabrication drawings for customer acceptance. Good attention to detail. Good understanding of current H&S requirements for welding and other hot works.
