Face to face English Literature GCSE Tutor - Rickmansworth
Do you have a passion for teaching English Literature and a proven track record of helping students achieve their academic goals?
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced English Literature tutor to provide one-on-one support to a Year 10 student in Rickmansworth. The ideal candidate will be able to engage the student in the subject, build confidence, and help her achieve a strong pass in her English Literature GCSE exam in June 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions for 2 hours per week, tailored to the student's individual needs and learning style. Develop a personalised learning plan to address areas of weakness and build on strengths. Provide guidance and support with exam preparation, essay writing, and critical analysis. Communicate regularly with the student's parents/guardians to ensure progress and address any concerns. Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Strong knowledge of English Literature and GCSE curriculum. Experience tutoring students in English Literature at GCSE level. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential. Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
Experience with exam preparation and exam techniques. A passion for English Literature and a desire to make learning engaging and enjoyable. Location:
