SBV-567 Description Define Business Requirements and Solutions

Manage the delivery of business cases, project scopes and requirements documents, test plans, and rollout communications. Serve as the primary liaison between business functions and solution management throughout the development lifecycle, i.e., from needs analysis until handover. Clearly understand, articulate and document existing “as-is” systems & business architecture and define strategy for “to-be” architecture. Create and maintain a cohesive, coordinated plan to deliver solutions within the facilities and infrastructure department. Establish and gain agreement on project budgets, ensure projects track to the budget. Drive project prioritisation and scope definition for which decisions are made on the final project scope. Analyse and document requirements and use appropriate techniques to refine, review and validate requirements. Demonstrate a sound understanding of the end-to-end facilities and infrastructure overall business solution is positioned, deployed and supported. Digital Transformation

Implement and manage Facilities Management software and help desk solutions, including contractor management features to optimise operations. Automate work order management and planned preventative maintenance processes. Maintain high levels of Service Level Agreements for services from contractors, engineers and any other infrastructure and facilities professionals through data-driven performance management indicators. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate facilities and infrastructure requirements into comprehensive business cases and proposals. Drive approved project implementation based on approved project priorities. Conduct specialised studies for the department to develop and recommend policies, procedures, controls. Leverage trend analysis to optimise resource allocation, mitigate risks, and enhance facilities management efficiency. Deploy proactive smart capital initiatives driven by long-term value by effectively identifying problematic and inefficient assets to replace. Provide in-depth business & technical strategy for systems solutions, identify business gaps, and correlate to potential solutions. Analytical Management of the Real Estate Portfolio

Construct successful investment portfolios informed by market conditions and economic trends through the provision of property data, market analysis and recommendations. Prepare the development and operational business plans of the real estate projects. Determine acceptable risk levels in the property portfolio based on time frames, risk preferences, return expectations, and market conditions. Create a rental determination analysis verifying with market data to understand the conditions within the area. Provide recommendations around the renewing, termination, and new leasing of properties. Research and investigate the acquisition of properties in alignment with SBV’s strategic objectives. Manage cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing analytical current market condition insights into the property portfolio strategy. Facilities and Infrastructure Operational Requirements

Prepare, manage, monitor, and report on the expenditure of the facility department. Achieve the overall budget target from an Opex and Capex perspective through benchmarking, analysis, reporting, and the implementation of future initiatives. Analyse and implement corrective plans supporting the utilisation of various infrastructure and facilities programs. Create optimisation strategies based on the framework and align to the organisational property requirements. Conduct due diligence around costing and estimations prior to the commencement of each program of work. Manage the end-to-end property value chain for SBV and Rest of Africa, benchmarking operating costs per property against industry standards. Manage the end-to-end Property Portfolio, Infrastructure Management, Facilities Management and facilities and infrastructure Assets management. Data Management

Establish and monitor a data repository for the facilities and infrastructure components ensuring data integrity. Develop and generate Management Information Analysis for the integrated facilities and infrastructure portfolio performance across the group. Utilise the data source to build a future facilities and infrastructure framework to remain ahead of industry standards. Establish, update and regularly report on the consolidated risk register and mitigation measures specific to estate management. Create executive reports depicting the real estate portfolio, providing strategy recommendations highlighting critical concerns and solutions. Manage SBV's commitment to being carbon neutral by 2040 and net zero by 2050. Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) Management

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to support SBV in the understanding and development of tailored solutions. Investigate and implement solutions that incorporate the evolving policy, regulatory, and business environment risks and opportunities associated with Corporate Sustainability and ESG. Manage the facilities element of the ESG component as a stream lead. Develop and execute corporate social initiatives aligned to the facilities and infrastructure sustainability workbook. People Management

Create a conducive environment which translates into productivity and high morale. Inspire one’s team to deliver on key performance areas. Adhere to legislative requirements and Group policies and procedures. Lead the focus on talent to instil value creation for high-value contributors. Manage one’s headcount in alignment with the principles and policies of SBV. Preside over disciplinary hearings on behalf of SBV. Provide leadership to employees within the organisation, creating a winning culture and high morale. Change Management

Act as a change management agent in periods of change to ensure continuity to operations. Manage the integration of Facilities and Infrastructure into a seamless end-to-end solution for customers. Effectively communicate and embed new processes and procedures. Facilitate necessary presentations, workshops or forums for consistent communication. Organisational Culture

Drive the department’s values while inspiring confidence and generating excitement. Drive Transformation and BBB-EE initiatives to ensure sustainable alignment. Initiate and lead a culture of performance-driven output. Subscribe and align to SBV Services' ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards. Support SBV's ESG journey, reporting on and managing the ESG requirements. Requirements

Business or IT related Degree. MBA (Advantageous). Business Analysis and testing qualification advantageous. Internal Institute for Business Analysis Certified Business Analysis Professional certification. 5 years working experience with exposure to business solutions design related to the Facilities and Infrastructure Industry. 5 years’ experience in managing medium to large tactical projects, project budgets and related processes. Exposure to Property portfolio and facilities management processes. Process redesign, mapping on operational level, change control methodologies.
