Are you a dynamic and experienced Engineering professional ready to lead a high-performing team? We are seeking an Engineering Lead to oversee Engineering and Maintenance teams, driving operational excellence and delivering impactful projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

About the Role As the Engineering Lead, you will take charge of the day-to-day management of engineering and facilities operations, optimising manufacturing processes, and implementing strategic improvements. A hands-on leader, you'll manage capital projects, ensure compliance, and mentor your team to achieve their full potential while maintaining an unwavering focus on quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Manage and develop the Manufacturing and Maintenance Engineering teams to deliver exceptional support to production and facilities operations. Identify opportunities for process improvements, waste reduction, and efficiency enhancements using Lean Manufacturing principles. Implement predictive and preventative maintenance strategies, ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime. Lead capital projects, from planning to execution, ensuring on-time delivery within budget. Partner with NPD teams to integrate new products seamlessly into production. Drive yield improvement projects using Six Sigma frameworks and lead failure analysis (8D).

What You'll Bring Essential Skills and Experience: Demonstrated success in leading Manufacturing and/or Maintenance Engineering teams. Strong understanding of Lean Methodologies, with hands-on experience in 5S, SMED, KANBAN, and similar principles. Experience in contractor management and knowledge of EHS regulations in facility management. Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Desirable Skills and Experience: HNC in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. Experience in setting up new departments or functions and/or facility management. Capital project delivery expertise. Qualifications or experience in gas systems or Agile project management.
