Role Overview

The function of this role will be to manage the site facilities and maintain plant and service operations across multiple sites. Working closely with the Operations Leadership team in conjunction with the business requirements is essential. You will be involved in both the strategic planning and day-to-day operations, which also involves managing contractors to support FM, security, the surrounding environment, cleaning, planned maintenance and utility requirements across the sites. What will you be doing?

Oversee and coordinate all aspects of facility maintenance to ensure the factory operates efficiently, including vehicle fleet. Implement and manage a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Coordinate with the FM company to ensure timely and effective responses to maintenance issues, ensuring they meet all performance and safety standards, with minimal disruption to factory operations. Implement and monitor security protocols, including access control and surveillance systems. Respond to and investigate security incidents, coordinating with the security firm and law enforcement as necessary. Coordinate with reception staff to handle visitor management, mail distribution, and general inquiries efficiently. Develop and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and cost control. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Dynamic and strong leader with a first-hand management approach, motivating and enabling staff. Experienced within a technical, high-growth, medium-sized company. Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate any issues and concerns at all levels. Diligence and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Strong team player and aware of individual impact and contribution to the business, with good critical thinking skills and ability to work under own initiative with limited supervision. Strong knowledge and understanding of industrial building functionality (Mechanical, Electrical, plumbing etc).
