We are looking for a Facilities Commercial Boiler Engineer to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis:

Key Responsibilities

Provide maintenance support (Including Installation, planned, preventive and reactive maintenance) in relation to site services, plant/equipment.

Install, maintain, and repair all types of boilers, heating & hot water systems.

Maintain commercial & domestic boilers & equipment.

Fault find, diagnose & repair problems.

Search materials & parts required, then order.

Complete & issue certification of systems.

Form part of an on-call rota within the Maintenance Team.

Seasonal shift pattern (some weekends/evenings).

Oversee the conduct of contractors on site, monitoring the implementation and performance of tasks allocated.

Deliver specialist technical support and services in relation to building plant/equipment.

Ensure a professional approach is always delivered with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.

Liaise regularly with colleagues, supervisors and managers to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered to the client at all times.

Provide a highly customer focused service to the company and client at all times.

Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence.

Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, particularly regarding health and safety.

Any other duties as and when required.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities

Engineering/Technical qualification (Apprenticeship or NVQ 3 in relevant discipline i.e. Gas)

Hold C&G or NVQ level 1, 2 or 3 in plumbing and heating.

Knowledge or hold unvented systems ticket.

Hold relevant commercial gas qualifications: COCN1, CODNCO1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1 & CMDDA1.

CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1.

Knowledge of Natural gas, LPG & Oil(kerosene)

Good knowledge and level of competency in other areas of building services (BMS, Mechanical)

Gas Safe certified (CCCN1 Core Commercial Catering Gas Safety).

Knowledge of Health & Safety & COSHH.

Knowledge of building regulations.

Full clean UK driver's license.

Significant proven experience.
