Job Description The Facilities and Health and Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring that all site facilities and maintenance operations uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and legislative compliance.

This role involves managing and monitoring all plant systems (including refrigeration), overseeing safety documentation, and implementing proactive maintenance schedules.

The manager will foster a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with current and future legislation, and work closely with the operations management team.

Additionally, the role includes supervising contractors, controlling costs, and representing the facilities and safety team at management meetings to support strategic decision-making. The Successful Applicant Proven experience of leading a team Calm and precise under pressure Exceptional eye for detail Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office N.E.B.O.S.H General certificate Membership to IWFM and/or IOSH (desirable) Recognised electrical or mechanical qualification (desirable) Numerical skills Demonstrate a track record of achieving results Strong experience of Maintenance and Safety systems Competent in managing a complex and technical supply chain What's on Offer Salary depending on experience Hours - Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00, with out-of-hours on-call support as part of the site services team structure, along with occasional weekend work Holiday pay Pension scheme
