Facilities Manager . The successful candidate will oversee the management of internal engineers as well as external contractors to ensure the uninterrupted working of services and utilities for multiple buildings, comprising laboratories, offices, chemical stores and utilities areas. Evotec is a leader in the discovery and development of novel small molecule drugs with operational sites in Europe and the US. Milton Park, Abingdon Responsibilities will include: Develop Monthly KPI’s and metrics to monitor performance of both internal and external resources to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply of site services at all times. Manage a wide range of maintenance contracts, ensuring services are fit for purpose and explore opportunities to integrate contracts with other parts of the business. Co-ordinate movement of people and services to support the ever-evolving needs of customers and the business, whilst ensuring that constraints and opportunities are explored and understood, to optimise resources and facilitate the ‘strategic best fit’. Oversee the Planned Preventative Maintenance regime, ensuring all FM services (hard & soft) fulfil lease obligations and ensure Statutory and EHS compliance. Work collaboratively with Projects Manager to deliver growth, compliance and Sustainability related projects. As Facilities SME, ensure through regular review and appraisal that appropriate training and coaching is in place for the team to meet both their development needs and those of the business. Regularly review the maintenance strategy to ensure the effectiveness of PPMs and ratio of remedial work is managed accordingly. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent communicator able to discuss issues with multiple internal stakeholders and at all levels of the organisation. Organised, with the ability to multitask concurrent activities, both planned and unplanned, according to the demands of the role, whilst remaining calm and focused on medium and longer-term objectives. Adept at managing a wide range of contracts with external service providers. Demonstrate and promote a professional attitude at all times. Understand engineering plant equipment and associated requirements to comply with legislation, GMP and Good Engineering Practice. Able to work as part of a team and individually. Computer literate. Education and Experience: Degree qualified in Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience. Management of Operational budgets. Previous experience of facility management is essential, preferably gained in a Laboratory / GMP environment. Experience of a CAFM/CMMS system is desirable.
