We are now inviting applications for the position of Facilities Manager for the Musgrave Supply Chain Sites in Northern Ireland. Reporting to the Facilities, Health & Safety Manager you will be required to support and assist the Supply Chain and Facilities Teams by organising and managing the Facilities related functions and supervision to both hard services repairs and maintenance and soft services provision across Supply Chain sites in the Northern Ireland region. The key responsibilities of this position include: Ownership and lead for Facilities for supply chain sites in the Northern Ireland region. Assistance to Facility Management colleagues across all Supply Chain sites. Establish systems for co-ordinating and managing soft service provision and performance and hard service planned and reactive repairs and maintenance. Co-ordinate service provider’s activities on site/s to ensure minimal impact on operational activities whilst ensuring lowest costs are achieved. Assist operations with implementation of projects as approved / directed. Manage projects / project teams as proposed / required to ensure successful completion. Monitor / report / engage to and with all project stakeholders on progress / performance as required. Co-ordinate the contractor safety programme process to ensure all contractors coming on site are aware of and adhere to Musgrave policy. Co -ordinate contractor/s on-site activities to ensure that the tasks are performed successfully and minimal disruption to operational activities. Co-ordinate all contractor related documentation (tendering / safety / financial, etc) during works process. Co-ordinate Fire Safety Programmes on dedicated site/s and in conjunction with the H&S Department, review, update and implement the Emergency Response Programme across the estate Ensure all fire detection and protection equipment is in place, maintained and working correctly. Lead Facilities / Service technician/s to deliver first line repairs across the Northern Ireland Supply Chain sites, Co-ordinate activities of Facilities / Site service technician/s and ensure value added activities. Manage the service contracts for all site/s plant and equipment. Coordinate and report on KPI’s for Facilities areas under remit. Experience, Skills and Education: Health and Safety Experience 5 + years in Contractor / Service Provision management A good communicator, both verbal and written. Good decision making skills with the ability to solve problems in a fast moving environment. Excellent personnel management and negotiation/meeting skills.
