We have an exciting opportunity for you to manage a premium BTR development in Reading. Client Details About Us We are a leading property management company with a focus on high-quality residential developments. Our Build to Rent properties are designed to offer exceptional living experiences, and we are looking for a Facilities Manager who can ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our properties. Description Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day facilities management of a prestigious Build to Rent property. Manage a team of in-house maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is completed to a high standard. Monitor and report on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and property standards. Regularly inspect the building, grounds, and amenities, addressing any issues proactively. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising on quality. Provide excellent customer service to residents, handling any issues or queries promptly. Collaborate with senior management and external partners to drive improvements and enhance resident satisfaction. Profile Skills & Experience: Proven experience in facilities management within the Build to Rent or residential sector. Strong knowledge of building systems and property maintenance. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience managing budgets and financial reporting. A proactive, problem-solving approach and attention to detail. NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent health and safety qualification (preferred but not essential).
