Here at UPP we have a great opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join our team in Nottingham. This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. The role will require weekend work and early starts as per business needs. The salary is £32,445 per annum. This role will manage the day-to-day activities in the non-residential areas of the building, including delivery of soft services and ensuring adherence to the agreed Service Level Agreement. Providing a comprehensive, effective and efficient service for the customer, in line with company objectives, whilst maintaining a highly customer orientated ethos amongst all staff towards all internal and external customers. Role responsibilities include: Delivery of a PPM & reactive maintenance Delivery of all cleaning services in non-residential areas Contractor engagement & management Asset Management Delivering results in challenging circumstances Monthly reporting & UPP representative in client liaison Carry out regular walks around the residence and grounds, reporting any security/safety issues Monitor and control health, safety and maintenance standards within residence and grounds Respond effectively to fire alarm activations and liaise with the emergency services Deal with queries and complaints in an efficient, professional and courteous manner Complete all necessary reports including incident reports, noise reports, accident reports and others as required Monitor the conduct of students, encouraging reasonable and fair behaviour, reporting any breach of the Code of Conduct and license agreement to the duty warden/tutor and residence manager as appropriate Liaise, as necessary, with other Facilities officers, university clients, sub-contractors, UPPRSL staff and residents and conference delegates We are looking for
